Standing strong together against plastic pollution: On the 17th and 18th of June, the “End Plastic Soup in Cam Ranh” project was successfully launched with a two-day clean-up event on the shores of Long Beach. More than 300 enthusiastic volunteers from Vietnamese Rotary clubs, hotels, and local schools joined forces. Their efforts resulted in the collection of an astonishing 1.5 tonnes of plastic along the 15-kilometre stretch of Long Beach, which will find new life through upcycling.
