What began as a strong initiative has long since evolved into a project with tangible impact: “From Hearts to Heart,” launched by the Rotary Club of Saigon International, is changing lives and giving children in Vietnam a real future.
There is now a series of encouraging updates: The project was featured in the January–February 2026 edition of Rotary Thailand Magazine (pp. 26–27). The article highlights how two Global Grants have already enabled 100 children to undergo successful surgery—a milestone that not only saves lives but also brings renewed hope to entire families. You can find the full article here:
In addition, the project was featured in Rotary Magazine in Peru and Ecuador, attracting further international attention. A photo has also been published in the 2025–2026 New Member Handbook of the RC Saigon International – a wonderful sign of the visibility and recognition this initiative is receiving within the global Rotary community.

Furthermore, a recent presentation provides a concise overview of the project’s current status, its achievements to date, and the next steps ahead. The slides are available for download and clearly illustrate how the project is progressing and where support is still urgently needed.
The “From Hearts to Heart” project thus remains a powerful example of how Rotary’s commitment can make a real difference in people’s lives—from heart to heart.
